Too cheap and largeI wear these more than my expensive shades.Great fitI bought these at a surf shop, and when I went to put them on the third day, separating the arms caused the plastic frame at the bridge of the nose to break. Up until that point, I rather liked my new shades. If it weren't the last day of my vacation, I'd have tried asking for a replacement.? I liked the look of them a lot. However, despite extremely light wear they have broken in several places. I don’t even know how the damage was caused. There was initially one crack which I thought I might glue but over the winter I must have placed something on them unwittingly because they are now broken in four further places. The plastic frame seems to be extremely brittle and so snaps very easily. The photo supplied is genuine, I have not made it look worse than it is. Surprised at how poor quality they are. They are not the most expensive sunglasses so my expectations were not sky-high but I also didn’t expect this. It just doesn’t seem the quality I would expect from a Vans item.Not that everyone will care, but I searched amazon for polarised sunglasses, and these came up as an option. I didn’t read the description before buying, but they definitely are not polarised, which is why it’s not mentioned in the description.Comfy glasses and they look good thoughI bought these for myself as I managed to snap the arm off of my previous sunglasses. They fit well and are a good looking yet unsurprisingly standard design. The lenses are fairly dark meaning they block out the blinding sun rays without blocking your vision. They don't bring a lot to the table in terms of uniqueness or qwerkyness, but for less than £10 I don't think anyone is expecting them to. The vans logo on the arm is the same colour as the rest of the glasses (black on black) which makes it extremely hard to see, personally I would have liked it to stand out a bit more, however I understand it comes down to personal preference and obviously it doesn't affect the wearability of the glasses. If you are in the market for a pair of glasses for a cheap price, I can certainly recommend these as they look good, perform well, and are incredibly cheap for a well renowned brand.
