I have ordered several pairs of these over the years from Amazon for myself, my spouse and even my father in law. These are sturdy sunglasses and at approaching $100 bucks - they always came with a case and were shipped with a box to protect them.I just received a pair that are to be a Christmas gift and they were shipped in a pseudo-Ziploc bag in a soft envelope in Christmas Crush. Terrible choice. I won't be able to tell if they are warped or bent until after Christmas - but be aware, this is another down grade in the name of cost savings that is not appropriate for something semi-fragile like sunglasses. I'd hate to find another source :(
