Great fit and finish. Love the color.Until Luxotica bought Baush & Lomb's Ray-Ban division I used to sell them in my athletic footwear store. I preferred Ray-Ban over the trendy Oakley (at that time new and hot) because I felt it had quality over flash. Anyway, I always chose to wear aviators such as The Outdoorsman. The original Wayfarers we had in stock always seemed to not quite fit my face as it is just a bit slender. They felt large and the angle of the lens hit my upper cheeks. These are the newer version of the Wayfarer and they do not nearly as big or as angled a lens as the original. In fact, these are definitely small and they likely will not fit just any man. You will need to be built with a slightly slender face, I think, for best results. That said, these fit me like an extremely tailored suit. There's no room to spare, but thankfully they are almost as if custom for me and as such never move around or slide. With a fit this close one might worry about fatigue from simply something gently pressing around one's ears...No problem here as they're comfortable, at least on my face, for hours. These are excellent values at the Amazon fulfilled pricing of right at $70. The frames are Italian-made (Italy and Japan compete it would seem for highest quality eyewear frames) with understated a beautiful dark tortoise acetate which is subtle and classy. These are fitted with the G-15 lens and they're probably Ray-Ban's most sold lens for good reason. The G-15 lens is a grey-based tinted lens that really provides adequate shade for bright light while it allows true color through while doing so. While not the kind of lens one will likely use on heavy overcast days while driving this is the Swiss Army knife lens sort of speak as it does more things right for more uses than most any other lens. The G-15 lens, along with the original Ray-Ban green tinted lens (supplied to troops like my father in World War II) have stood the test of time, even with higher and higher technology these lens are "so right" they just keep selling year after year. Try them and I think you'll understand why. I will mention that my wife has a larger lensed Ray-Ban Wayfarer II pair with polarized lens that she bought from the Hut branded place in Nashville. She paid almost $200 with taxes. They are actually enough too big for me that I prefer the smaller frame, but the polarized lens are extremely nice. They're usable in much lower light like on heavy overcast days as they just don't eliminate the shear amount of light that the G-15' lens do. Are they worth $200? Not to me...I really believe if they were around no more than $10 to $20-dollars more I'd consider buying a pair of these smaller Wayfarer II's with the polarized lens, but they seem to somewhere around $40 to 50-dollars more which I just do not believe is a fair value as it doesn't cost that much additional money to produce a polarized lens. I am very happy to stick with these smaller Wayfarer II glasses with G-15 lens as they're very high quality at an extremely nice price. So, why didn't I give these 5-stars? Well, with this smaller pair I have one wish only and that is the height of the lens is just a slight bit more shallow (less) than I would really like. This is a small thing as if the lens were too tall in height the chance of pressure to the cheek bones could creep in. But, I really believe just a small increase in the actual height of the lens would make my almost perfectly tailored sunglasses even better. This is just my opinion, but as I think I already made clear these will be too small for even some medium faces and pretty much definitely too small for outright large and round faces. If you have a slender face and have found Ray-Ban original Wayfarers to look a bit comical on you then try these smaller Wayfarer II's. I really am enjoying mine and the price/quality ration here on Amazon seals the deal. They look great, they are clear, they protect, and are stylish. These are a hit with me! Was worried they would be fake, but nope they check out. Buy with confidence.Muy buenos pero la calidad a ido disminuyendo con los años vienen con detalles de fabrica que no están buenos para el precio que se paga por ellosREAL OR FAKE: Here it is...an up to date review on the authenticity of these glasses. I purchased the matte havana frames with the blue/green polarized lens. I read all of the reviews (well, all the 1 stars and quite a few 5's), got a little scared that I was wasting my time purchasing fake Ray Bans and decided that since I had Prime I could always take them back for free. I just received mine in the mail and they came in the silver box, inside a black Ray Ban case with the micro fibre cloth and a little booklet. I checked all of the ways online on how to check if you have bought a fakes or not, so I quickly put my new pair to the test. They passed my own inspection with flying colors (notice the pun, and the day this was written, tehehe). Anyway, I was 99% sure that the lenses were actually polarized, that they were genuine in every sense of the word, but since this was my first pair I decided to take it to a local merchant that is also a certified Ray Ban seller (along with many other brands). I compared first myself with the other new wayfarer's in their store, and I found that my pair was actually more sturdy and elegant. This might have been because the models I looked at were on the show floor, but mine seemed heavier slightly, more tight and just nicer. Then I used their polarized display and sure enough the lenses passed the test perfectly. So I handed the pair over to the specialist and let them inspect it. Guess what? It was 100% genuine RayBan's. Then they asked why I was here not buying from them...this is the fun part.I told them I bought these on Amazon for $28 including overnight shipping. How's that, you ask?!!?! Well, as of right now this exact pair just dropped in price by $7 since yesterday when I bought them. So at $85 (my purchase price) plus tax and shipping it came out to $98. I didn't have time to spend the $98 so I applied for Amazons credit card and once approved got $70 instantly credited to my account...then I bought these. It's true and quite beautiful, now that I know that I know that I know they are REAL.I did make sure that the pair I selected were sold only from and shipped from Amazon LLC. I also would note that it could be hit or miss with the authenticity of your pair you purchase but hopefully you can be rest assured that at least some of the pairs sold are legit. These are nice. I mean really nice. They fit perfectly, feel very sturdy, look amazing, match to the "t" other genuine Ray Bans and these don't sweet or make cracking noises or whatever. Actually, in the store with real Ray Bans the plastic pair of wayfarer's actually did make a little bit of noise. They were full price and I felt really smug for beating the system. You can too, but my advice is to have prime in order to have free returns in case you aren't as fortunate. I'm also tempted to get a second pair since it's so cheap right now...hmmmm...yes. Hope this helps!LAST THING: check my pics, this is the case and the glasses. You can even see the etching in the lense on the right lense in the pic. You're welcome.I’m completely shocked such a knock-off can be marketed on this platform AND at a price above what the real makers sell.Frames are cheap, shiny plastic. You can visibly see how crudely they were “cut” & “filed”. The glass are not the same shade; one is clearly darker than the other.Product came in an old, crumbled box.Amazon, please remove this listing & stop retailing knock-offs along side the originals, especially when buyers clearly flag this.5 stelle Amazon 0 stelle per il venditore. This item was not a pair of genuine raybans, please don’t buy them, they are cheap and nasty copies , didn’t even want to give them one star but you have to in order to post comment!!?Quickest return I've made! Item received in a clear plastic bag over the leather case. Glasses appear to be reasonably heavy and have the ray bay logo on the lens and the rb etched in. The description of the item purchased states they had polarised lenses, so should have ray ban p on the logo. Also verified by looking at my phone in landscape, which has a polarised lens! Two polarised lenses at 90 degrees will block out all light, and these didn't change at all. So they definitely don't have polarised lenses, meaning they're either mis-sold or knock offs. Either way is pretty disappointing. I wouldn't order a product like this from Amazon again where their processes clearly aren't up to making sure you get what you pay for. Buying these on amazon was a gamble I wouldn't take again.Having had a pair many years ago, surviving two separate lens replacements plus a replacement frame before eventually being lost, I finally got around to purchasing new ones.I wish I'd taken more care in researching the new additions to their lines!I had thought I had ordered plain black frames with green lenses, as I owned all those years ago. I was unsure what "black and transparent" meant - the photos on Amazon (at a quick glance, on my phone) just looked black.Much to my surprise, upon receipt, I found only the front-most plane of the frame, and the outer face of the arms, is black, essentially a black finish on clear plastic. Now this may seem finicky. However, upon exiting the house to try them in bright sunlight, the transparent plastic, being so thick, picks up a LOT of light, and reflects/refracts it towards one's eyes - not really desired if they are worn to cut down on light. So unfortunately, back they go.Oh, and another reason for better research - I just discovered they aren't polarised. I had just assumed they all would be, my error. Just as well I'm returning them...
