My old sunglasses fogged up when I was running, which was obnoxious. I hated to spend so much, considering I'm not super careful with sunglasses. But I splurged and am glad I did. They look a bit odd on my face shape, but they don't fog up, they don't slide down when I get sweaty, and the best part - when I put them up on my head, they are narrow enough to stay in place up there while I run. And I love the purple lenses! Very girly!I have had Native Sunglasses in the past and loved them. These are very lightweight and the prefect size and style I was looking for. I love the venting and they never fog up. My issue is through the nose bridge area, the hard plastic is thick and not very comfortable on my nose. Its doable, because they are lightweight but I am not sure I would buy this style again. A little more padding on the nose would be a nice addition maybe? I still wear them daily but just not 5 star comfort in my opinion.Note that as of 2020 or so, these do NOT come with an extra pair of interchangeable lenses like they did when I first bought them in 2016. This isn't just Amazon, if you go to the Native website they no longer sell them with lenses or a hard case. This was especially disappointing for me because I'd lost the case, with the lenses inside, for my old pair. I don't know if it's due to covid - they mention having to make adjustments due to supply issues - but they no longer mention interchangeable lenses at all on their site except in the FAQ on how to do it, the lenses aren't even sold separately. All that aside, they are great sunglasses. I like the way they wrap around to block sun from the side while being good at not fogging up too much. I think the problem with my old pair was due to exposure to DEET degrading the rubber on the ear pieces and the lens coating, so be careful wearing them while you have that. After 15 years of wearing Natives I found myself in need of some new shades so went online to order a third pair. I'd have been happy just getting replacement lenses for the ones I have since frames are still good but I live in Japan so can't just stop in REI to find out the style (I forgot) and didn't want to order the wrong replacement lenses, thus opting to buy a new pair.Alas once online the Amazon gods showed me some other brand for way cheaper--Ribvos or something? It had over 5k ratings close to five stars so what the heck I'll try these.Rookie move! They didn't fit nearly as well and the lenses scratched first time they fell off my head. So $20 plus shipping lesson learned, I went back and order Natives. Yeah they cost more but the adage "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here. I don't care how many ratings the Ribvoswhatever sunglasses or any other $20 brands got, they don't hold a candle to Natives.Already own a pair and wanted a second to keep in my truck. The price is right for the quality, wear them all the time. Thanks OutlandUSAI bought these to replaced my lost ones I had purchased from REI years ago. The description said that they included a hard zippered case, cleaning cloth, additional lenses, and a soft storage bag. The glasses came in a soft bag without all the accessories. You are better off buying off the native website.I spent several hours trying all the sunglasses at REI (the sales associate was most patient). When I put these on, it was an instant, "aaaahhhhh". The fit was perfect, the tint of the lenses was perfect, and they looked good on, as well. They come with a very nice rigid case. Not exactly a hard case, but very rigid, that holds not only the sunglasses, but also the extra yellow lenses, as well as a soft micro fiber cloth case which doubles as a cleaning cloth.Anyway, I bought them on the spot, then when I got home I noticed that Amazonwarehousedeals had a set for half price, but with no case or extra lenses, but hey, my car has a nifty sunglasses holder built in, so that deal was perfect for that particular use. Then, I bought my 3rd pair on Amazon.com for use at work (I'm a professional driver). So, one pair for walking around, one for the car, and one for work, and let me tell you, I enjoy them all every single time I put them on.I compared these to less expensive drug store sunglasses, and while those were ok, it was obvious the build Native Eyeware quality was in a different league, and the lenses of the Native sunglasses did a better job of toning down the bright sky, while not darkening everything else. Considering how much time I spend outside or driving, these are worth every penny to me.If you feel like giving your eyes a treat, I can heartily recommend the Native Eyewear Kodiak sunglasses.Excellent sunglasses
