This is my 5th pair purchased overall. They usually last me 2-3 years. Overall they have stayed the same although the tint seems to have changed slightly from my last pair. Still a good pair of shadesAfter having Maui Jim sunglasses for 20 years, my wife ordered some for me but I am disappointed in the decrease in the lens size. My eye barely looks through the lens without looking below the lens.I don’t feel they will protect my eyes as well as the old ones did. When I go the beachI would have rated these five stars if based merely on the function and aesthetics. I have owned two pair of the same glasses, one brown and one black. The first pair I purchased at a Sunglass Hut about two years ago and the second pair I purchased on here last year. Both pair broke in the exact same sport, the top inside corner of the left lens where it connects to the nose support. The first pair was about a year old when it broke so I didn't even consider a warranty replacement because I believed it might have been my fault, even though I take extremely good care of them. However, the second pair broke after about 3 months and all I did was take them off one day and the lens came apart from the nose support or bridge. I was simply wearing them and took them off and noticed they were broken. Then I compared them to my other pair and it was the exact same problem. I am going to contact Maui Jim and see if they will replace them, and if not, I will go back to wearing Oakley. I like the Maui Jim a little better than Oakley but I never had a pair of Oakley brake in probably 10 years or longer of wearing them. I always purchased wire frame Oakley because I could just bend them back in place if they bent out of shape. I did have lenses scratch but that is my fault. I will update this review after speaking to Maui, but I can tell you for sure that I will never buy the same style (Makaha) again. I will gladly accept a free replacement pair, but that is it.PerfectPlain and simple, best sunglasses you will ever own, period. These glasses were a departure from last time I bought same item. Very cheap plastics. We will see how they hold up. For the money not a good value in my opinion. My second pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. Comfortable, no distortion at all.So a lifetime of Ray-ban followed by Oakley - but they seem to have really lost their way styling wise - unless you happen to be a bling addicted fashionista. So Maui Jim - I read a magazine review and then spotted them - classic rimless relatively neat - think Neo in Matrix but more wrap around. The quality however is there - head hugger style and crystal clear polarised lenses - best I have ever owned. Very comfortable - Im totally converted. Can deffo recommend! This is my third pair of Maui Jim’s. They look great and are well made. First pair lasted five years, second pair still good at five years but I lost them at the shops. Not surprised nobody handed them in. Really good sunglasses and I highly recommended them.A replacement for a lost pair and these are so comfy and lightweight. The vision is so clear with the polarised effect and I highly recommend them.Really like em you can tell straight away these are quality shades buy em you wint regret it ?Really like these this is my second pair as they usually get wrecked in a car - will probably have another pair - additionally when I lost one of the nose rests - Mauri Jim sent on a pair free of charge - so aftercare customer service... 5 Star
